What The Father Rewards! Rewards!
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad (2 Corinthians 5:10).
It should be every child of God’s desire to please Him. I always pray to God to guide my heart in His Word and help me please Him more. This is what you should be most concerned with as a Christian: how to please God and ensure your heart goes after Him.
As the righteousness of God, God wouldn’t reward you for the works of righteousness because you’re expected to do right. You’re supposed to do right. What you’re rewarded for is the impact you have made in the lives of others and for the life you lived toward God in your love for Jesus Christ.
God rewards us for our commitment to soul-winning, our giving for the advancement of the Kingdom work, and cir every sacrifice of our time, talent and energy to move the Gospel. The Bible says, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).
Child of God, become conscious of the end of all things. You can decide now the type of reward you want to receive from God; you can determine it. Just as a builder can determine the quality of the house he wants to build right from the beginning, even before he starts.
You must make up your mind to be a blesser of lives; you must touch lives with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus.
