The Consciousness Of Eternal Life

…This is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life (1 John 5:11-12 NIV).

If you know who you really are in Christ, your consciousness of your personality, origin, and heritage in Christ will affect the way you live, control the decisions you make and the things that happen with and around you. This is why you should be conscious of the life of God that’s in you.

The Lord Jesus said in John 5:26, “For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.”

What is this eternal life? Eternal life (Greek, Zoe) is the life and nature of God imparted to the spirit of the one who believes in Jesus. It’s the supernatural life of God in your spirit, making you invincible, indestructible, and superior to Satan, sickness, disease, failure and death.

God wants you to be conscious of His life in you. That consciousness gives you the winner’s mentality. You don’t have to “feel” it in your body first to be conscious that you have eternal life; it’s in your spirit. Every so often, declare that the life of God is in you, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet!

This is the miracle-life! It’s incorruptible. If you feel the symptoms of sickness in your body, activate the power of the God-life in you by praying in tongues, and speaking the Word. Within a short while, you’d notice strength and vitality return to your body.
