To be selfless means you think of others before yourself. Being selfless is an important quality every leader must have.
The Lord has raised you to be a leader and He wants you to be selfless in all you do; both to Him and others around you.
If you have a plate of meal all to yourself and see a friend who hasn’t had anything to eat, share your meal with that one. Remember that every act of selflessness and kindness you show to people, you’re doing it to the Lord (Matthew 25:40). And you can be sure He’ll bless and promote you for it.
