Refuse The Sleepless Nights

It is vain to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His children sleep (Psalm 127:2).

May be you’re one of those  who have trouble sleeping at night. You’re always up making reports, presentations, and worried about the bills. And as much as it looks “fantastic” to do, it’s all unnecessary!

The Bible says, God gives His beloved sleep. We’re the beloved (Ephesians 1:6, 2 Thessalonians 2:13) because we are in Christ.

So, God says it is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows. In other words, it is pointless and unprofitable to worry about and loose sleep because the truth is, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it…” (Psalm 127:1).

So, let God be the One who builds your career. Let Him the One that guards your health, marriage and children. Don’t worry and stay up late as though you’re the source of your increase and progress.

Time to let go and have God take over (1 Peter 5:7). Beloved, trust your Father’s love for you and have no sleepless nights. Blessed be God!
