But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).
The pattern of relationship revealed to us in the theme scripture is of how God deals with us at a personal level. He says, “He that cometh to God must believe that He is.” He doesn’t say THEM that come to God.“The invitation is personal.”
Revelation 3:20 gives us an account of how that Jesus Christ stands at the door saying, “…if ANY MAN hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to HIM, and will sup with HIM, and HE with me.” It’s a personal relationship!
If your pursuit is to have a true and impacting communion with God, you must make up your mind to detach yourself from the crowd. Walking with the Father is an intimate journey where you and God define the place of solitude- aloneness. Practice being simply alone with the Father!
Such as is written, “And Enoch walked with God…” (Genesis 5:24) and “…before his translation HE had this testimony, that HE pleased God” (Hebrews 11:5).
Therefore, the sum total of all this is to have a personal understanding of the Gospel; a personal revelation of Christ; a personal faith and a personal testimony of your walk with God. Blessed be God!
