I AM THAT I AM

And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM… (Exodus 3:14).

 

It really doesn’t matter what challenge you are experiencing, the I AM is declaring to you today that, I AM what you want me to be. Only God can talk like that. No ‘man’ can have the audacity to make such a declaration. 

 

May be you’re wondering whether there is more to life than just existing. God says, “I AM the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25). He came to give you life to the full. And where there is life, there can’t be death (2 Timothy 1:10). 

 

May be you’re sick and in need of healing. He says, “I AM the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26). You see, when the Creator of the universe declares that I AM the Lord that heals you, then you rest your case. 

 

Are you confused and not knowing what to do. He says, “I AM the light of the world” (John 8:12). He says, when you follow me, you will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life. So you can boldly declare that, the Lord is my light, I shall not be afraid. 

 

God hasn’t just given you light, He is actually your light, and because He is your light, you have been qualified to partake/be an associate of what He is. So He calls you light because He is Light. 

 

May be you’re not comfortable with your  leaders. He says, “I AM the good shepherd (John 10:11). I AM the One that leads you to pastures of tender, green grass and waters of rest. You will not suffer lack (Psalm 23:1-3).

 

You could be looking for a way out of trouble. He says, “I AM your deliverer. I will reach down from on high, take hold of your hand and draw you out of the deep water (Psalm 18:2, 16).

 

You could be confused about your future, not knowing how it will be. And when you look back you ‘see’ your negative past. Remember that now you’re in Christ. He says, “I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last” (Revelation 1:11). Your past is no longer counted in your history. Because you’re in Christ, He has become your First and Last; that is He has the final word in your life. 

 

Become conscious of these truths and see your life progress from glory to glory. Blessed be God!
