God's Will For You
I know that whatsoever God does, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it… (Ecclesiastes 3:14).
God’s work is eternal and perfect. That means, whatever He does can stand the test of time! It’s therefore not in His plan and purpose for your life or body to fail; there is a perfection to whatever God does.
No wonder the Bible records that, “…God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good…” (Genesis 1:31). The issue isn’t what’s happening to you or around you, but what you can see. This truth needs to be comprehended!
Talking about Gods will, Paul writing to the Colossians said, “Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, salutes you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
The words perfect and complete come from the Greek words “teleios” which means maturity/full age, and “pleroo” which means to be full respectively. That’s God’s perfect will for us! This means Gods perfect will for us is that we should become mature in the things of God and be full/filled, in need of nothing.
James, by the Spirit, also wrote saying, “But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing” (James 1:4). The word entire comes from the Greek word “holokleros” which refers to a state of being complete in every part, especially your body. God’s will therefore is that we should be whole without damage or defect! Hallelujah!
Everything about us has been brought to perfection and completeness! Meditate on these realities daily and let them be your confession. Glory to God!
