God Our True Reward
…without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).
Reading through our opening Scripture leads us to the understanding of Genesis 15:1, “…Fear not, Abram: I [am] thy shield, [and] thy exceeding great reward.” The reward and rewarder is God Himself.
This is more than what religion teaches. The true reward is not in “breakthroughs.” God is the reward. God is the true essence for prayer. He’s the epitome of communion and the very intent of our fellowship.
He is the reason the Bible says, “When you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you publicly.”(Matthew 6:6).
When God publicly rewards you, it means that your knowledge of Him developed through prayer becomes manifest for the world to see.
