God Needs You To Do Something For Him

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none (Ezekiel 22:30).

It’s so profound to think about the fact that God works in the earth through men. That’s why He made us to have dominion over His estate and act in His stead and do the things He would do. So, when He wants to do something, He looks for someone who would do it.

One time Jesus said to His disciples, “Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest” (Luke 10:2). Imagine, God wouldn’t do it alone; He needs us as labourers.

Our responsibility is to tell the people what Jesus has done for us. Jesus’ told the man at Gadara that had been healed from demon possession to go and tell his friends and relatives what the Lord had done for him. And the man became a preacher in Decapolis (Mark 5:20). That’s the principle! Jesus didn’t think of adding on the number of disciples than He thought about letting other people know about the works of God.

We are needed as labourers in the vineyard. God needs you to share His love and goodness to the world. The harvest is ready! Hallelujah!
