Devote Yourself Unto God

…We will continue to devote ourselves steadfastly to prayer and the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4 AMP).

In our walk with the Lord, He desires to always and continually talk to us through His Word as we respond to Him in prayer. This makes our relationship with Him so intimate and full of bliss. And when you practice staying in the place of study of the Word and in prayer, you’ll automatically be catapulted into worship.

Remember that you’re a spirit and were born by the Word of God (1 Peter 1:23). Thus, you must continually feed on your source to truly live (1 Peter 2:2). It’s such a glorious opportunity when you permit God’s Spirit to minister to you as you minister to Him.

You should also give quality time to sing to the Lord in worship, praise, and adoration. This is done in the form of spiritual sacrifices and offerings (Hebrews 13:15).

Worship is a “drinking together, an intercourse” of spirits. In John 4:23, the Lord says true worship is to worship in spirit and in truth, that is, to worship the Father from your spirit and according to His Word.

Consciously give yourself over to the Lord in Word, prayer and worship and your life will experience the glories of His presence! Hallelujah!
