About us
Background
Truth Assembly church started in 2015 with a small group of about 5 members. It was a result of the word that Pr Tom had received from the Lord to begin a meeting. It began with a Sunday service but added a midweek meeting after about one and a half years. Since then, it has gone through several changes adding more programs and developing more structures as we felt led by God. It has a team of ministers with the Team leader as Pastor Tom Amanya. The ministry vision is to bring many children to glory. Its mission is to raise believers that demonstrate the glory of God.

The ministry does church services and also outreaches with conferences and crusades. Our services are open to the public and are conducted on Sundays and any other day of the week as decided by the leadership. Due to curfews and lockdowns instituted by the government authorities because of covid-19, we are always adjusting our programs and delivery to continue to edify and build the congregation and our partners. Because of this, the ministry has had to open social media pages on Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube where we are able to post content that provides for the growth needs of our congregation and partners. As already noted here, the church also conducts crusades and conferences. This too has been affected by the continuing lockdowns that are a result of covid-19. But by then, quite a number of crusades and conferences had already been done in different parts of Uganda in which many people have been saved, healed and delivered. Many churches have been strengthened and experienced growth because of these meetings. Our message focuses on the kingdom just like the Lord instructed us; Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The ministry also networks with an increasing number of churches and ministries that are submitted to like doctrine. Some of these churches and ministries have chosen to directly come under the oversight of the leadership of Truth Assembly church. Truth Assembly also plans to plant more church branches in other parts of the country and other countries according to the direction we have received from God. All these are opportunities for more ministry and kingdom partnerships. Every believer in the body of Christ must realise how critical these times are that we are living in. Now more than ever before, whatever we do for the kingdom of God has the capacity for a multiplied effect than it did just a few years ago. Let’s take advantage of these opportunities and partnerships to reach further and do more.

Through the ministry of the gospel, evangelize the lost and disciple the believers into ministers who will by their lives reflect the glory of God in thought, speech and action. (Our chief vehicle of discipleship for the propagation of our message is the word of His grace and tongues.)
