1. Bringing people everywhere we go into the presence of God
Isaiah 66:7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. 66:8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
2. Pleading on behalf of the lost and broken. Isaiah 59:15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. 59:16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
3. Using our gifts to contribute to the general act of worship in the church
4. Taking our ministry as seriously as the most serious in church
5. Preaching the gospel and carrying out the great commission
6. Build the wall and make a hedge. Ezekiel 13:4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. 13:5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.
Ezekiel 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
