Are You Ready For The Rapture?

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh (Matthew 24:44).

The Lord instructed us to be prepared for the rapture. It takes a preparation to be raptured. However, some christians are worldly, and are therefore not ready. The rapture is for every christian who is ready!

“But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite [his] fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint [him] his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:48-51).

Notice, he’s a servant of the Lord but is not ready. He shall have his portion with the hypocrites. The readiness required of us is a state of mind. It’s a kind of spirituality.

Jesus isn’t coming for a carnal Church; no. The Bible says, “For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace. Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be” (Romans 8:6-7). It matters the kind of choices you make!

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7).

After you’ve come to Christ, you’re required to walk in the light. If you’re not, then, you’re preparing yourself to have a place with the sinners. Remember, the servant isn’t a hypocrite but because he isn’t ready, the Lord shall appoint him his portion with the hypocrites (Matthew 24:51).

Child of God, purpose to live for God. Make spiritual choices. The Lord’s desire is “That he might present it [the Church] to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:27). Are you ready for the rapture?
