Stop The Excuses Excuses |
“…A man prepared a great feast and sent out many invitations. When all was ready, he sent his servant around to notify the guests…But they all began making excuses…” (Luke 14:16-18 TLB).
You shouldn’t form the habit of making up excuses for not doing what you’re supposed to do. You rob yourself of excellence each time you do so. And God doesn’t want that.
When God first told Moses to deliver the children of Israel from bondage in Egypt, he refused; instead, he gave different excuses why he couldn’t do so (Exodus 4:1-13). Eventually, God convinced him and he looked beyond his shortcomings.
Therefore, the next time you’re handed something important to do, get rid of every excuse, and let the excellence of God shine through you.
You are an able minister of the New Testament and God has entrusted you with the Gospel; so, go forward and proclaim the Good News.
Grow Up and Stop The Excuses!
