Of Violence

For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour: I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for you (Isaiah 43:3)

Child of God, it has pleased the Lord that you should enter in and enjoy your inheritance. But you need to know that sometimes, there are those that stand in your way for which you may not enjoy what’s rightfully yours.

The Scripture has said, God gave up Egypt, Ethiopia and Seba as a ransom for Israel. They were offered as a redemptive price for Israel’s release. When the time had come for the children of Israel to move and possess their possessions, some people had to be offered as a ransom.

Understand this child of God, when it comes to matters of destiny and inheritance, we don’t negotiate. We give up some men and women for our sake. Sometimes, somewhere, somehow, someone or something has got to die for you to take up what’s yours in Christ (Matthew 17:27).

Therefore, I speak to those that have decided to hate and fail you, I take away their peace. They will not rest until you have what’s rightfully yours. Because they are pursuing you, they are being pursued now. Whatever they do shall not prosper. Let them be offered for your sake.

They have hated you for long but now they give way. They and their children will testify of shame. As long as they hate you, they will not see prosperity in their labour. They will come kneeling and bowing down before you for you are the eternally excellent one (Isaiah 60:14-15).
