The Lord Our Shepherd
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want (Psalms 23:1).
Gods divine power has already given us all things that we need to live the good and prosperous life (2 Peter 1:2-3). Therefore, have the confidence that all your needs are met and have no reason to lack anything in life.
Child of God, you must imitate the mentality of the Psalmist. You shouldn’t lack, for the LORD is your Shepherd. He makes you lie down in green pastures; He leads you besides the still waters, and He restores your soul (Psalms 23:3). So, reject the lack mentality and refuse to lack anything.
How do you do this? By being supply conscious! Don’t be afraid of your supply drying up. Rather, look up to your ever-loving Shepherd who supplies your every need according to His riches in glory.
You’re a child of God and your life is in the Shepherd’s hands. This is why you can boldly say, “The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want for money, health, shelter or food. I shall not want for any good thing in this life.” Glory to God!
Have this consciousness and let it define your confessions!
